Associate General Counsel, Product, Privacy and AI

We're hiring an Associate General Counsel, Product, Privacy and AI Counsel to serve as a strategic legal partner to Peregrine’s Product, Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and active admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant product counseling and AI-related work within high-growth SaaS companies.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. and international privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR).
• Experience advising on AI governance, model risk assessment, and emerging AI regulatory regimes.
• Experience embedding directly with Product and Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property, licensing and data rights is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory regimes impacting public sector customers is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex, novel legal questions with sound, defensible judgment.
• Clear communicator who can translate regulatory complexity into actionable product guidance.
• Collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable operating independently.
