Senior Network Engineer

Peregrine is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will work on building and operating software required to connect to customers and develop software-defined networking solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Network Engineer or related field
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with AWS or cloud-native network architectures
• Understanding of core network protocols such as LACP, Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, DHCP, DNS, NAT
• Experience implementing, supporting and troubleshooting IPSec / VPN services
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes architecture and its related components
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies
• Experience using packet capture tools and Open Source tools to troubleshoot networks
