Compressor Technician

We are seeking a skilled compressor technician to join our client in the East Rand of Johannesburg. As a technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining compressor systems. Your work will involve a mix of mechanical and electrical tasks, whether in-house or on-site for service assignments.

Requirements

• Perform servicing, diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on compressed air products
• Carry out electrical installations up to the customers isolator
• Complete installations, piping jobs, commissioning, and handovers to clients
• Handle small machining jobs, welding, brazing, soldering, and spray painting as needed
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs effectively and maintaining professional communication
• Maintain detailed service reports for each job, identifying opportunities for additional service or parts sales
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential equipment sales opportunities
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working with electrical, mechanical, and chemical systems
