Research Engineer, Lab Automation

We are seeking a Research Engineer to join our world-class team of scientists and engineers pushing the boundaries of materials research. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Materials Science or related field and hands-on experimental work experience. Responsibilities include translating scientific goals into automation roadmaps, designing and testing proof-of-concept systems, and collaborating with engineers and vendors to develop practical designs and build plans.

Requirements

• PhD in Materials Science or related field
• Hands-on experimental work experience
• Demonstrated engineering instincts
• Strong experimental design and data analysis skills
• Familiarity with thin films, solid-state synthesis, in-situ characterization, or automated property testing
