Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will participate in daily meetings, plan resource utilization, set warehouse policies, and provide training to warehouse personnel. The role involves ensuring compliance to trade regulations, performing risk assessments, and leading special projects.

• Participate in daily meetings with the team and manufacturing colleagues
• Plan and make the best use of all resources available
• Set warehouse policies and procedures
• Provide training to warehouse personnel
• Carry process studies and implementation of systems for constant work improvements
• Ensure proper handling of controlled materials
• Ensure stock count accuracy
• Carry out inventory stock taking management
• Perform Annual Physical Inventory exercise
• Ensure proper disposal of scrap materials
• Lead activities to ensure compliance to trade regulations
• Perform Risk Assessment and take actions to ensure a safe working environment
• Utilize Six Sigma techniques to streamline processes
• Lead in special projects and key initiatives
