Job Description
Perkins & Co is offering a summer internship for students in accounting or related fields. The internship provides an opportunity to perform staff accountant level tax or audit & assurance work, and receive comprehensive training provided by CPAs. Compensation is $30 per hour. The internship is designed to give students a realistic preview of the work they'll perform in public accounting and set them up for success.
Requirements
- Must be working to obtain a Bachelorâs or Master's degree in Accounting or related field and eligible for the CPA Exam
- Must be anticipated CPA eligible between December 2027 and August 2028
- Working knowledge of basic office technology and software (MS Office Suite)
- High integrity and trustworthiness
- Ability to learn accounting specific software and research tools
- Goal oriented and have a desire to learn
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
