Network Engineer

Role Overview

As a Network Engineer, you'll be a critical member of the Persistent Systems technical team, working closely with forward support and technical team members to solve customer's most difficult mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) problems. You'll serve as a technical lead and subject-matter expert in the support of Persistent Systems' Cloud RelayTM communications solution.

What You Will Do

Implement and support network solutions utilizing Wave Relay and Cloud Relay technologies, design solutions to meet customer requirements, lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex networking systems, and develop long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification or equivalent training/experience
• 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Understanding of hardware and software concepts, and networking concepts such as IP routing and switching and VPN architectures, and OSI model layers 1-3
• Experience with traffic shaping, priority queuing, Class of Service (CoS), and routing/switching
• Ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance
