Job Description
Hill Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join their San Diego team. This role involves assisting project managers and project superintendents with bidding, tracking subcontractor releases, project billing, RFIs, scheduling, and administrative management. They build residential homes on the West Coast and are a rapidly growing company with a strong reputation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field)
- 1-2 years direct experience with project schedules, RFIs, estimates, budgets, and contracts.
- Ability to read/bid construction plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of subcontractor scopes.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Management Software, P6/On-Center/Revit/Bluebeam experience a plus)
- Willingness to regularly visit job sites and work in the office.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver boxes.
