Construction Environmental Manager - PL#48599

Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking a Construction Environmental Manager to support a major mining project. The role will lead environmental oversight during construction and ensure all project activities comply with regulatory requirements, permits, and environmental management plans.

Requirements

• Familiarity with environmental regulations including Environmental Management Act (EMA)
• Familiarity with Mines Act
• Familiarity with Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in BC
• Familiarity with Metal and Diamond Mining Effluent Regulations (MDMER)
• Familiarity with Water Sustainability Act
• Familiarity with Fisheries Act
• Familiarity with Migratory Birds Convention Act
• Working knowledge of Construction Environmental Monitoring Plans
• Working knowledge of ML/ARD Plans
• Working knowledge of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
• Experience managing environmental teams on large-scale construction or mining projects
• Strong understanding of environmental compliance, monitoring, and reporting requirements
