Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Superintendent - PL#67479

Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Superintendent to provide on-site leadership for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on a major industrial mining project.

Requirements

• Lead and supervise all electrical, instrumentation, and controls activities on site.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of electricians, instrument technicians, and controls specialists.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Oversee installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and management to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce compliance, and foster a strong safety culture on site.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and status updates for management.
