Lead Backend Engineer (m/f/d)

Peter Park is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to shape the future of parking systems, developing a cutting-edge backend, optimizing CI pipelines, and enhancing monitoring with Datadog. The ideal candidate will drive the backend vision, align engineering with strategy, take end-to-end ownership of projects, champion engineering excellence, and lead a team of backend engineers. This role requires strong proficiency in Python, C++, Node.js, and cloud technologies like AWS, as well as experience with infrastructure as code and monitoring tools.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, C++, Node.js, and backend frameworks such as NestJS, Flask, Fastify, or FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, EC2, and SQS.
• Experience with Terraform or similar tools for infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience in real production projects handling large-scale data flows.
• Proficiency in tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and cloud security.
• Experience in agile teams, working in dynamic, fast-growing tech environments.
• Strong English communication skills (C1+)
