Job Description
Peterson Health is seeking a Medical Assistant- Cardiology to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably a graduate of a medical assistant program or military MA program. They will support provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties, perform diagnostic testing, and maintain medical equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program
- Customer service skills
- Ability to use telephone and computer
- Basic ECG rhythm recognition or willingness to learn within 30 days of starting
- Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card
