Nuclear Medicine Technologist | PRN (As-Needed)

Peterson Health is seeking a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and assist with various procedures in their rural community hospital in Texas. The role requires working under the supervision of radiologists and requires adherence to ALARA principles and maintaining a positive patient experience. Requirements

• Associate in Nuclear Medicine
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB, Texas License, and BLS CPR
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal relationship, decision-making and patient care skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, positioning, techniques, and radiation protection and safety
• Knowledge of imaging physics
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to determine exposure factors and position patient effectively
• Ability to deviate from standard techniques to improve imaging
• Knowledge of isotope handling and injection protocols
• Ability to identify and correct protocols
• ARRT Multiple modality registry from ARRT
