
Job description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and engineering solutions for plant utility and environmental systems, including HVAC, chillers, and associated controls. You will design and support HVAC and utility systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, and industrial facilities. You will also develop conceptual and basis-of-design engineering solutions, including system selection, sizing, and design intent documentation.
Your technical skills will help keep our plants, utility systems, buildings, and equipment up and running. You will be relied on to take the necessary preventive and corrective steps for setting priorities, forecasting, and allocating resources in the maintenance tasks. You will also provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving.
You will be highly motivated, show initiative, and work well independently or in a team environment. You will be able to shift priorities according to changes in departmental/facility needs and be open to different ideas/approaches.
