Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Press Officer to enhance external communications, generate media coverage, and develop media relations strategies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in press and PR, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Develop and oversee media materials
- Create and implement communication plans
- Support promoting exhibitions, programming, and events
- Represent the Communications team at stakeholder meetings
- Establish and maintain media relationships
- Work with teams across the museum to ensure consistency of messaging
- Assist with drafting and distributing internal communications
- Assist with identifying and making recommendations regarding potential areas for risk management
- Oversee media materials, monitoring, and reporting
