Software Architect

As a hands-on Backend Software Architect, you will define and drive the architectural modernization and cloud migration of a mission-critical healthcare platform within Philips Radiology Informatics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 7+ years in backend software engineering (architecture, infrastructure, networking, reliability)
• Proven experience as Software Architect with hands-on experience driving the architecture modernization
• Hands-on experience migrating complex on-prem systems to AWS
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability design
• Experience with C++, C#, Java in enterprise systems
• Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, messaging systems
• Deep understanding of relational databases (preferably Oracle)
• Experience with system reliability, performance tuning, and observability
• Strong Advantage: Experience working in regulated / mission-critical environments
• Experience with healthcare systems / PACS / imaging systems
• AWS architecture certifications
• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise platforms
