The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring company and customer quality standards are being met and non-conforming material is segregated through quality inspections and internal audits.
Requirements
- Collects samples and performs assigned inspection tasks against engineering prints and specifications using various types of inspection equipment and methods.
- Perform routine quality audits and inspections of production work areas to ensure documented processes are being followed and product is conforming.
- Document, track and report out results of inspections and/or audits using pareto or Paynter charts.
- Load Quality Inspection plans into SAP Quality module and perform Receiving Inspection activities.
- Provide support to Quality Engineers and Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production, as needed including quarantine and sorting activities and dock audits.
