Senior Security Architect

PHINIA is seeking a Senior Security Architect to help shape and advance its global cybersecurity strategy. The successful candidate will design modern security architectures, guide technology roadmaps, and ensure strong alignment between cyber capabilities, business priorities, and emerging threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, including architecture, engineering, or security operations.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise security technologies (firewalls, IPS/WAF, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, IAM).
• Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms and securing workloads in Azure and hybrid environments.
• Experience with IT infrastructure fundamentals (OS, networking, virtualization, containers, storage).
• Familiarity with regulatory and control frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOX, and GDPR.
• Ability to translate complex cyber concepts into business-aligned recommendations.
• Executive-ready communication and presentation skills.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with practical implementation experience.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
• Continuous learner who stays ahead of evolving threats and technologies.
