Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing services in our medical respite program: Serenity Court located in North Philadelphia.

Requirements

• Record patient's medical history
• Accurately record patient medications via the MARs
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, vitals, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Administer medications per physicians' orders to the patients and monitor and document the effectiveness of all medications
• Assure the safety and comfort of all patients
• Assist with the scheduling of medical appointments
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents
• Provide on-call supports on alternating weekends
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings
• Maintain necessary licensures and certifications
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager
