LYFT Youth Program Leader (Part-Time)

PHMC is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our LYFT OST crew as a Youth Program Leader. The role involves engaging high school adolescents in project-based activities, building 21st Century Skills, and fostering a brighter future for youth in Philadelphia.

Requirements

• Provide daily supervision and engaging activities for up to 15 youth
• Engage youth in life skills group discussions and activities
• Engage youth to design and implement STEAM-focused project-based learning, service-learning, and/or experiential learning projects
• Tutor and assist youth individually or in small groups to help them master assignments and reinforce learning concepts presented by instructors/teachers
• Communicate with parents and the school community
• Enforce administration policies and rules governing students
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
• Complete other duties related to programming, such as reporting and attendance
