The Medical Records Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient management of patient health information. This position is responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to medical records, including processing requests, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of medical records experience
• Knowledge of medical records regulations
• Professional attitude
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
• Knowledgeable in HIPPA compliance and regulations
• Ability to make independent decisions regarding matters of significance
• Handles changes and unforeseen challenges calmly and adjusts workflows as needed
• Ability to work outside core business hours as needed (flexibility)
