Job Description
This Data Engineer role in Bangalore involves building and maintaining data solutions, using SQL and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative spirit, strong analytical skills, and experience working in a global, distributed environment. It requires a high degree of SQL performance optimization and experience with data warehousing.
Requirements
- Proven track record of working in collaborative teams.
- Expertise in SQL queries with UNIX shell/Python scripting.
- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, EMR)
- Experience with Snowflake (AWS)
- Knowledge of ELT/ETL pipelines for Snowflake data store
- SQL performance optimization for large data volumes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong database and data warehousing skills
- Independent work in a globally distributed environment
- Superior SQL and Data Modeling skills
- Experience with code migrations
- DevOps tools experience (Control-M preferred)
- JIRA and Agile practices
