Job Description
Anesthesiologist position at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, with opportunities for leadership and working with a diverse team. The position requires a license to practice medicine in New York, experience with block placement preferred, and board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology.
Requirements
- Determine and prescribe kinds of anesthetics and procedures
- Advise Anesthetists and Surgeons on unusual or complex patient problems
- Recommend suitable anesthesia and advise on dosages
- Review case histories and consult on post-operative complications
- Lecture to and train Anesthetists, Residents, and auxiliary staff
- Work with CRNA's, medical students, and residents
- Board eligible or certified in Anesthesiology
- A license to practice Medicine in the State of New York
