Psychiatrist - Addiction Services

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Psychiatrist to join their Addiction Services team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will provide clinical care for patients in the outpatient addiction clinic and opioid treatment program, conducting comprehensive psychiatric and substance use history and assessments, and ordering medications for addiction treatment. Must be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and have subspecialty board certification in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
• Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry
• Subspecialty Board Certified in Addiction Medicine (ABAM) or Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) (Current or anticipated within 4-years)
• License to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Active DEA Registration including waiver to prescribe buprenorphine (Current or anticipated within 6-months)
• At least one year of education, training, and/or experience in substance use disorder services
