Job Description
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a Pathologist Assistant for a per diem position for a hospital in Freehold, NJ. The Pathologist Assistant plays a critical role in supporting pathologists by performing advanced specimen dissection, preparation, and documentation to facilitate accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant biological science or health-related field
- Completion of an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant training program
- Certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent
- Knowledge of human anatomy, pathology, and laboratory safety protocols
- Ability to comply with HIPAA and other patient confidentiality regulations
