Job Description
Picarro is seeking an Embedded System Software Architect to lead the design of the embedded software layer connecting FPGA/firmware control with high-level applications. The role involves developing Linux-based embedded platforms and device drivers, optimizing system services, and ensuring reliable operation of complex optical-electronic systems. This position requires strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in embedded systems development
- Proficiency with Linux-based embedded platforms, device driver development, and C/C++
- Experience with hardware/software interfaces
- Track record of architecting scalable, maintainable embedded systems
