Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are being considered for part-time or full-time positions. The role involves assessing patient health, providing care, and documenting patient information. This includes administering medications, conducting physicals, and responding to emergencies. The position requires a commitment to patient education and collaboration within the healthcare team.

Requirements

• BA/BS, MS preferred. Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program or approved nurse practitioner program.
• Minimum of one-year experience as physician assistant, preferably in clinic setting.
• Or minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of nurse practitioner experience.
• Maintain valid PA license for the state of North Carolina, certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• CPR certification as required.
• KNOWledge of acute and chronic care protocols, administration of medications, delivering physical care following treatment plan.
