Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

The Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will assess patient health status, provide acute and chronic patient care, and educate patients and families. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS, MS preferred, and a minimum of one-year experience as a physician assistant or three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting.

Requirements

• BA/BS, MS preferred
• Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program or approved nurse practitioner program
• Minimum of one-year experience as physician assistant, preferably in clinic setting
• Or minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of nurse practitioner experience
• Maintain valid PA license for the state of North Carolina, certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• CPR certification as required
• Or maintains valid RN license for state of North Carolina
