Job Description
The Vascular Technologist will perform Duplex Ultrasound scans, assist with procedures for patients with chronic venous insufficiency, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. The role involves patient evaluation, ultrasound imaging, and assisting the provider with various procedures, including injections and ablation. It also includes maintaining and updating the ultrasound schedule.
Requirements
- Associate's degree and/or two years allied health background in an AMA approved program
- Active RVT, RVS, or RPhS registration
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification
- Maintain active RVT, RVS, or RPhS registration and BLS
- Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) (CVCI)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
