Pierre Fabre is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures that align with business objectives.
Requirements
- Design and implement a scalable, high-performance data architecture aligned with business objectives.
- Integrate disparate data sources into a unified, reliable single source of truth.
- Collaborate with the Head of Data to develop and implement a comprehensive MDM framework ensuring data integrity and governance.
- Drive system performance optimization and cost efficiency across data infrastructure.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, mitigating potential disruptions while capitalizing on new opportunities for innovation.
- Advance a culture of excellence through collaboration, data ownership, and quality standards.
- Mentor and upskill team members, cultivate a data-driven culture, and ensure the organization leverages its information assets with integrity and strategic insight.
- Deep expertise in data architecture, MDM, analytics platforms, and tools.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- SQL language coding and Python or other programing languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau or comparable BI platform is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, managing multiple data sources and deadlines.
- Ability to architect and develop scalable data solutions, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in IT, Data Engineering, or related fields.
- 1-4 years in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
- 1-4 years of coding experience in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience working with Tableau and BI tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, Denodo, Amazon Marketing Cloud, GCP)
