Job Description
The Breeder Service Technician is responsible for supporting and monitoring breeder flock health, welfare, and productivity to ensure compliance with Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation (PPC) animal care and production standards.
Requirements
- Conduct regular farm inspections
- Provide technical guidance and development programs to assist growers
- Organize and lead safety meetings
- Coordinate and oversee the movement of pullets
- Perform field vaccinations and administer medications
- Weigh, handle, and evaluate pullets, hens, and males
- Monitor and analyze hen productivity metrics
- Collect and transport hatching eggs
- Assist with scheduling and training of employees
