Job Description
The Shipping Manager I position manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in preparing, verifying and maintaining records on all shipments, and inventory control, while promoting a safe environment and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Operate within USDA/HACCP guidelines
- Promote a safe environment following state, federal and company safety standards
- Provide positive people-oriented work environment, designed to build morale
- Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Supervise employees in shipping and inventory control
- Demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills are necessary with experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- SAP experience a plus
