Shipping Superintendent - 3rd Shift

The Shipping Superintendent position manages and coordinates activities of team members engaged in preparing, verifying, and maintaining records on all shipments and inventory control. The role requires supervision experience in shipping and inventory control, with a focus on ensuring production continuity and balance, and supporting other plant function areas to attain output, productivity, and quality.

Requirements

• Must have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control
• Establishes short-term activities directed toward production continuity and balance
• Coordinates and integrates with other plant function areas
• Selects, organizes, trains, and motivates production labor force
• Recommends improvements in production flow or methods
• Ensures effective use of operating methods and procedures
• Counsels supervisors on job performance and departmental efficiencies
• Recommends modification of machines and equipment
