Product Strategist

PIMCO is seeking a Hedge Fund Strategist to join the Product Strategy Group, based in London. This role will play a critical part in driving the growth of PIMCO’s hedge fund and quantitative strategies across the EMEA region, while also contributing to global business strategy, product prioritization, and the development of new investment solutions.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience in asset management or the sell side, with a strong focus on hedge funds or liquid alternative strategies
• Deep understanding of the global hedge fund landscape, including investment strategies, allocator behavior, and evolving client demand trends
• Strong grasp of the various channels through which hedge fund products are distributed, including institutional, private wealth, and intermediary platforms
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling narratives
• Comfort and credibility in public speaking, across both formal and informal settings, and with audiences ranging from small senior groups to large forums
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a clear appetite for building and growing a business, balanced by a highly collaborative and teamoriented approach
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment in prioritizing work based on business needs and strategic importance
• Clear alignment with PIMCO’s culture, values, and longterm investment philosophy
• CFA designation or MBA strongly preferred
