Security Officer

Pinon Unified School District is seeking a skilled Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff members. The ideal candidate will be part of a team that ensures the security of the school premises and property, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a security officer, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Must pass the First Responder Training and obtain certificate within 90 days of hire
• Driver’s License required
• Bilingual (Navajo/English) preferred
