Job Description
Pinterest is seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to join the Monetization ML Engineering team. This role focuses on building personalized experiences for Pinners, partnering with teams across Pinterest to improve ML models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search), and leveraging large-scale recommendation systems. The team aims to connect user aspirations with product offerings and offers hands-on access to data and opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience applying machine learning methods
- Degree in computer science, statistics, or related field
- Experience with building data processing pipelines, large scale machine learning systems, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark)
- Practical knowledge of large scale recommender systems, or modern ads ranking, retrieval, targeting, marketplace systems
- M.S. or PhD in Machine Learning or related areas
