As a Staff Product Designer on our Social Experiences team, you'll define a point of view for the social ecosystem, partner with product and engineering counterparts, and design impactful user-centered features to drive business impact. You'll also manage feedback from cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, and grow the people on your team through coaching and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design, a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in Product Design (or equivalent)
- Experience leading complex user and metrics inspired projects
- Excellent product thinking and UX design skills
- Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they’re solving
- Ability to set the direction for the team by creating clear and impactful strategies
- Drive results by holding the team accountable for efficient, high-quality execution of goals
- A well-versed storyteller with strong presentation skills
- Experience in balancing speed and quality with a focus on driving impact through both optimizations and 0-1 product development
- High level of self-awareness with a growth mindset that is focused on impact
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, data literacy and systems thinking a plus
- Understanding how to fold in Trust & Safety best practices into their solutions (privacy, integrity, controls, considering bad actors)
- Experience working on social features, metrics-inspired design (growth teams) is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools for product development efficiency and AI capabilities for user facing features - especially Figma Make for quick prototyping and using AI assistants for referencing research, ideating and brainstorming
