Job Description
Pioneer Human Services is seeking a Residential Treatment Specialist (RTS) to provide physical care and implement programming to assist residents with their individual treatment plans. The RTS will work with a team to ensure quality and cost-effective chemical dependency services. The position is responsible for various duties such as interpreting program policies, supervising resident movement, and assessing resident behaviors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor certification within 60 days
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet navigation
- One year of experience in the human services field (preferable)
- Course work, experience, or training in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, residential treatment, or related disciplines (preferable)
