Managing Director, Energy & Infrastructure

We are seeking a Managing Director to lead our Energy & Infrastructure business in Minneapolis. As a senior leader, you will be accountable for the performance, growth, and overall health of the business. You will operate at the intersection of talent, delivery, financial growth, and market operations, and lead a team of elite talent and strong leaders. You will be responsible for driving disciplined growth, ensuring delivery excellence, and shaping the future of the market while connecting local execution to firmwide strategy and innovation.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, with a strong emphasis on Energy & Infrastructure and regulated utility environments
• Proven success leading complex client portfolios and senior executive relationships
• Demonstrated ability to grow revenue, manage margins, and own P&L outcomes
• Track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing teams
• Strong executive presence, communication, and influence
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with sound judgment and decisiveness
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability, growth-oriented environment
• Recognized expertise in one or more industry, functional, or solution domains
• Demonstrated experience serving electric and/or gas utilities across strategy, operations, technology, capital programs, or enterprise transformation
• Established executive relationships within the utility and broader Energy & Infrastructure sector
• Proven ability to operate credibly with boards, regulators, and senior utility leadership
• Experience leading consulting teams through complex, capital-intensive, multi-stakeholder environments
