Job Description
As a Design Intern at Pivot Interiors, you will support the design team in developing workplace solutions for clients. You will work on tasks such as creating floor plans, furniture options, and renderings, and will be responsible for championing design operational excellence.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time CIDA accredited Interior Design program
- Completed third year of an Undergraduate program or first year of a Master’s program
- Basic understanding of building systems, building codes, electrical, and cabling
- Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of Interior Design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
- Strong, persuasive communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients
- Experience and demonstrated skill using 2D/3D software, CET Designer, AutoCAD, 20/20 Cap, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Revit a plus
