MySQL Database Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems with five (5) years of directly related work experience; or, Master’s degree with three (3) years of commercial experience in MySQL Development and MySQL Server
• Demonstrated experience configuring, maintaining, monitoring, overseeing and troubleshooting MySQL database servers v.5.7 with multi-master configuration running on Linux in production and staging
• Experience in (ETL) Extract, Transform and Load phases of data intake and established best practices
• Knowledge of Percona toolkit
• Experience with source control – SVN, GIT
• Experience with integrated development environments
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
