Planful is looking for a Sr. Revenue Accountant to play a key role in all aspects of the order-to-cash accounting function.

Requirements

4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue accounting in a SaaS/subscription environment (or similar recurring revenue model)
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 with experience applying guidance to non-standard/complex contracts
Experience owning close deliverables: reconciliations, journal entries, tie-outs, and flux/variance analysis
High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets); comfort working with systems and data
Strong communication skills—able to explain accounting conclusions to non-accounting stakeholders and document positions clearly
Detail-oriented with strong judgment, ownership mentality, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
CPA (active or in progress) preferred
Experience with common quote-to-cash tools (CRM/CPQ, billing platforms, revenue automation/subledger) and ERPs preferred
Experience supporting audits and operating within a controlled environment preferred
