Assistant Maintenance Manager (Full Time)

The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance operations at a residential or multifamily property. This role helps coordinate work orders, supervise maintenance staff, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure preventative maintenance programs are followed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine and emergency repairs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable using work order systems and basic computer applications
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license; EPA certification preferred or willingness to obtain
