Job Description
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife to provide quality patient care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, clinical skills, and a strong emphasis on excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Valid and current California license as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Associate
- Current furnishing license required (for NP)
- Current BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association
- Master's/Graduate degree
- National Board Certification
- Medi-Cal Provider application must be completed
- NPI number required
- DEA license preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to communicate and interact well with patients, staff, and volunteers
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to relate to diverse communities
