The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers direct clinical care across a full spectrum of sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, abortion care, colposcopy, and LEEP.
Requirements
- Reviews patient health history for completeness and records findings
- Provides care to patients receiving family planning, abortion, colposcopy, LEEP, and other GYN services
- Provides direct nursing care throughout the abortion care continuum
- Accurately documents and administers medications as ordered by the provider
- Documents competently in the electronic medical record
- Arranges for interpreters for patients with communication barriers
- Collaborates with members of a multi-disciplinary health care team
- Assists in promoting optimum center operations
- Participates in health center/affiliate efforts to achieve established goals for productivity
