Registered Nurse - Hempstead

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers direct clinical care across a full spectrum of sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, abortion care, colposcopy, and LEEP.

Requirements

• Reviews patient health history for completeness and records findings
• Provides care to patients receiving family planning, abortion, colposcopy, LEEP, and other GYN services
• Provides direct nursing care throughout the abortion care continuum
• Accurately documents and administers medications as ordered by the provider
• Documents competently in the electronic medical record
• Arranges for interpreters for patients with communication barriers
• Collaborates with members of a multi-disciplinary health care team
• Assists in promoting optimum center operations
• Participates in health center/affiliate efforts to achieve established goals for productivity
