Job Description
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is seeking a Director of Strategic Advocacy and Government Relations to lead efforts to shape public policy, strengthen civic engagement, and advance reproductive health, rights, and justice in Wisconsin. The role involves developing and managing legislative strategies, building partnerships with policymakers and community leaders, overseeing electoral and voter engagement efforts, and serving as a spokesperson for the organization. This is a 40-hour per week position in a hybrid model office setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Government Affairs, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in government relations, policy advocacy, political strategy, or nonprofit leadership.
- 501(c)(3) and/or 501(c)(4) experience.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
