Requirements

• Lighting background with 5 to 8 years of experience in Mechanical Design.
• Manage a project team to develop a lamp project on system level throughout project life cycle till SOP, for global Projects.
• Coordinate design activities of mechanical, optical and electrical engineers to develop a system that fulfills customer requirements
• Define Project Strategy for the lamp system
• Create and maintain system development time schedule with all internal and external milestones
• Lead PD aspects of time schedule incl. time constraints from optics, mechanics and electronics and coordinate with PM
• Manage Risk
• Coordinate change mgmt. within PD and the customer
• Define/integrate manufacturing requirements
• Responsible for DFMEA, patent clearance, design to cost
• Ensure passing TDRs milestones and maintaining OIL
• Support of technical communication with suppliers
• Responsible for requirements management
• Measure project performance using KPIs for the respective working results and for the product and process quality
• Support of industrialization phase as required and requested Transfer project to production
