Lead Mechanical Engineer - Optics

Lead Mechanical Engineer - Optics position at OPmobility responsible for leading mechanical design activities within Front Lighting Projector Module projects, ensuring robust, validated, and manufacturable mechanical solutions meet customer requirements and project timelines.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, plastic injection technologies, and tool design
• Experience leading small technical projects; team leadership experience is an advantage
• Strong skills in CAD tools (CATIA, NX), GD&T, DFMEA, and mechanical validation methodologies
• Proven experience presenting technical solutions to customers and managing daily customer communication
• Strong organizational, decision making, and priority setting skills, with excellent stress management and a high level of self reliance
• Advanced English (B2); German or French is an advantage
