Project Officer

Project Officer to lead and manage research projects, studies, assessments, and field surveys from inception to completion, with responsibilities including developing workplans, methodologies, data collection tools, and implementation timelines, as well as overseeing data quality, analysis, and the preparation of research reports and final deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, Development Studies, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in research projects, assessments, studies, or field-based surveys
• Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and data collection tools
• Experience in report writing, data analysis, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent command of English and good command of Arabic, especially in professional writing and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox or ODK
• Good understanding of the Syrian operational context and field implementation challenges
