Job Description
Platform9 is looking for a customer-focused staff product manager to drive the vision & execution for Platform9’s Private Cloud Director, a flagship private cloud management product that offers enterprises the best alternative to VMware.
Requirements
- MS in Computer science or an equivalent degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience building enterprise software products
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, organization and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to lead through influence
- Proactive, energetic, creative, loves working on hard problems
- Highly organized, efficient at driving multiple projects with high priority and execute against strict deadlines
- Basic domain knowledge of virtualization and technologies such as VMware, Linux/KVM
- Background in virtualization, containerization, private/public cloud
- Passion for cloud technologies
- A background of product management, sales engineering or customers success is a plus
